False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are provided at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a three-year period.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Prerequisites

These programs get started at NCV level 2 plus the least prerequisite would then be Grade 9 certificate with a pass in Arithmetic.

At the time the student finishes NCVLevel 2, they might then have attained a grade ten certificate. NCV Level three would be grade here 11 and NCV Level four is grade 12.

NCV Level four is at the exit level, remaining equivalent to a National Senior Certificate (NSC).

Grade nine is on NQF level 1. Our NCV programmes start NCV stage 2 and that is equivalent to an NQF level 2.

On which kind of students are fitted to these programmes, they say that the world is acknowledging that standard education just isn't essentially the sole way of becoming an artisan or starting to be certified therefore if a student knows from an early age what their pursuits are, the NCV programme is really properly suited for that student.
